1) When was this item last used?
If it's been a year or more since you last touched an item, then it might be time to get rid of it. After all, if you haven't used the item in a long time, there's a chance that you never will. 2) Could this item benefit someone else?

5) Would you buy the item again?
If you could go back in time, would you purchase the same item again? Did it bring value to your life, or are you happy to see it go? Answer these questions honestly and you'll have a better understanding of how to handle the item.
